Caroline Pillow is a professional actor, director, and teacher based in St. Louis, MO. Originally from Memphis, TN, she graduated with her Bachelor’s of Music in Musical Theatre from Oklahoma City University in May 2024. Some of her favorite credits include Fritzie/Kost in Cabaret, Jan in Grease, and Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. When she is not performing, she is directing shows in the St. Louis area and teaching theatre to the next generation of young theatre artists. Caroline also runs a freelance hand-lettering business where she creates customized pieces for weddings, graduations, showers, and other exciting events. Feel free to look around and stay a while!

December 2025
Caroline completed her run as the stage manager for Gateway Center of Performing Arts’ production of the Wizard of Oz.

November 2025
Caroline made her St. Louis Directing debut in November 2025 with the St. Louis JCC’s Youth production of Finding Nemo KIDS.

Cabaret
March 2025
Caroline made her St. Louis and professional debut as Fraulein Kost and Fritzie in Cabaret at the New Jewish Theatre. This show opened NJT’s 27th season.

Grease
August 2024
Caroline played Jan in Theatre Memphis’ Grease August 16th through September 8th. This show opens Theatre Memphis’ 2024-2025 season.

Texas Shakespeare Festival
Summer 2024
Caroline was in Kilgore, TX from May to July as Assistant Director for Sweeney Todd and Assistant Choreographer for Sweeney Todd, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Much Ado About Nothing.

Graduation Day
May 2024
Caroline graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s of Music in Musical Theatre and a minor in Theatrical Directing from Oklahoma City University.

Peter and the Starcatcher
March 2024
Caroline directed Disney’s Peter and the Starcatcher with the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department. The show ran February 29th through March 3rd. She made various appearances on both TV and radio to promote the show.

The Light in the Piazza
November 2023
Caroline was seen as Margaret in Oklahoma City University’s spotlight production of The Light in the Piazza November 3rd through the 5th. Her performance was met with positive reviews and standing ovations.

Playhouse on the Square Conservatory
Summer 2023
For 5 weeks, Caroline helped over 150+ children write, produce, and perform their own 10 minute plays with Memphis’ Playhouse on the Square. She also directed each play and designed lights and sound for the showcases as a whole.

Titanic
June 2023
Caroline was seen as Madeleine Astor and Kate Mullins in Harrell Theatre’s production of Titanic. The production was nominated for 11 Memphis Ostrander Awards and won 5, including Outstanding Overall Production.

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
November 2022
Caroline made her Oklahoma City proper debut as Olive Ostrovsky in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Center. She was later nominated for this role in the BWW Regional Awards.
